American Express opens first continental European Centurion Lounge in Amsterdam
American Express has opened its first Centurion Lounge in continental Europe at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This new facility marks the 33rd location in the company’s global lounge network.
Located between terminals E and F, the approximately 560-square-meter space is designed to accommodate both transit passengers and those needing to work. The lounge features various seating options, including workstations, private call booths, and group areas, alongside amenities such as Wi-Fi and charging stations.
The interior design draws inspiration from Dutch culture and landscape, utilizing a color palette of blue, green, and earth tones to evoke Amsterdam’s canals. The space also showcases artwork from several Dutch artists, including Mieke Jonker, Reinder Schmidt, Geesien Postema, and Thirza Schaap.
