American Express expands luxury hotel offerings for Platinum Card members

American Express has expanded its premium travel offerings for Platinum Card members by adding more than 350 exclusive properties to its Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection programs. This expansion brings the total portfolio to over 3,400 properties across 116 countries. Cardholders receive benefits such as complimentary breakfast, guaranteed late checkouts, and on-property credits.

In addition to hotel expansions, the company is focusing on a comprehensive travel ecosystem. This includes the introduction of the Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge, a concept designed for travelers with limited time, such as a new location in Las Vegas.

In the Australian market, the American Express Platinum Card continues to offer significant rewards, including potential bonuses of up to 300,000 Membership Rewards points through specific spending requirements. The card also provides access to the American Express Global Lounge Collection, including Centurion Lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
