American Federation for Children expands team to support school choice

The American Federation for Children (AFC) has announced several new hires to expand its nationwide team focused on school choice and educational opportunities. CEO Tommy Schultz stated the expansion aims to support families, particularly those with lower incomes, ahead of the 2027 launch of the Education Freedom Tax Credit.

New team members include Jeff Chambers, a Senior Full-Stack and DevOps Engineer tasked with maintaining digital infrastructure; Emily Elfelt, Executive Communications Associate; and Blake Elliott, a Founding Operations Associate supporting the AFC Scholarship Fund.
