American Horror Story announces season 13 crossover details

The FX anthology series “American Horror Story” will return for its 13th season, featuring a crossover format that connects elements from previous installments. Creator Ryan Murphy described the season as a “love letter” to fans, as it will reunite various characters, antagonists, and themes from the franchise’s history.

Confirmed returning cast members include Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Joey Pollari. The season will consist of 13 episodes, each approximately 30 minutes long.

In the United States, the season is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, September 24, 2026, on Hulu and Disney+. In the United Kingdom, episodes will be available on Disney+ starting Friday, September 25, 2026. The season will follow a release pattern where multiple episodes drop in the opening weeks, concluding with a finale in late October to coincide with Halloween.
