American Industrial Partners Acquires Honeywell Warehouse Automation Business

American Industrial Partners (AIP) completed the acquisition of Honeywell Technologies' Warehouse and Workflow Solutions business in an all‑cash deal, bringing together the Intelligrated, Transnorm and Trew brands under a single warehouse‑automation organization. The combined entity will offer integrated equipment, software and services—including conveyor, sortation, robotics, automated storage and retrieval, and palletizing—to customers in retail, e‑commerce, manufacturing and distribution.

Alfred Rebello, with more than 35 years in material handling, was appointed chief executive officer of the new organization. The businesses together generated over $1 billion in revenue in 2025 and employ more than 3,700 people across North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Honeywell said the divestiture sharpens its focus on building‑ and industrial‑automation systems, while AIP aims to expand investment and innovation in warehouse automation.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The sale follows Honeywell's recent restructuring, including the spin‑off of its aerospace unit and other portfolio changes.
