American Sportfishing Association to host 2026 Sportfishing Summit
The American Sportfishing Association (ASA) is organizing the 2026 Sportfishing Summit, scheduled for October 20–23 in Point Clear, Alabama. The event serves as a collaborative platform for industry leaders, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, to discuss policies and trends affecting the sportfishing and boating sectors.
Keynote speakers for the summit include political analyst Chris Stirewalt and innovation speaker Kyle Scheele. The program will also feature panel discussions focused on the ‘Modern Angler,’ utilizing data to analyze changing demographics and marketing trends within the fishing community.
The summit follows the ICAST trade show, which recently set a post-pandemic record for retailer attendance. While ICAST focuses on product displays and trade, the ASA Sportfishing Summit is designed for policy discussion, education, and problem-solving to address emerging laws and economic shifts in the industry.
