American Uranium begins aquifer testing at Lo Herma project

American Uranium has initiated large-scale hydrogeological pump testing at its Lo Herma In-Situ Recovery (ISR) Uranium Project located in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. The testing program is centered on Mine Unit 1 and aims to evaluate groundwater flow, hydraulic connectivity, and wellfield development parameters within the proposed initial mining area.

This testing follows a recent resource update in August 2026, which reported total Lo Herma resources of 9.96 million pounds of triuranium octoxide (U3O8). The data collected from this aquifer testing will be used for groundwater modeling, permitting activities, and future ISR wellfield design. The results are expected to serve as critical inputs for the company’s targeted Scoping Study scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
