Americanas offers over 3,700 temporary jobs for Black Friday

Americanas is opening more than 3,700 temporary positions to strengthen its operations during the final quarter of the year, specifically targeting the Black Friday and end-of-year holiday season. The recruitment drive includes 760 roles in logistics and 3,000 positions within physical stores across more than 1,440 locations and eight distribution centers throughout Brazil.

In Rio de Janeiro, the company is hiring 348 temporary employees for various municipalities, including the capital, São Gonçalo, Duque de Caxias, and Niterói. In Pernambuco, 162 vacancies are available for cities such as Recife, Olinda, and Caruaru.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed high school, though prior experience is not required. Roles include store operators responsible for customer service, shelf replenishment, cashier operations, and stock support. Flávio Lopes, Vice President of People & Management, stated that the initiative aims to provide opportunities for first-time job seekers and professional relocation while ensuring an agile shopping experience during peak seasonal demand.
