Data from CheapCaribbean Vacations reveals that 61% of Americans had not taken a vacation so far this summer, and 43% have booked trips within two weeks of departure. Many travelers actively search for last-minute deals to save money, with some estimating average savings of approximately $785 by booking closer to their departure date.
