Americas Enotourism and Gastronomy Forum held in Brazil

The 1st Americas Enotourism and Gastronomy Forum convened in São Paulo, Brazil, bringing together representatives from seven countries: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, and Mexico. Organized by ADEGA Magazine in collaboration with UN Tourism, the event focused on using wine tourism and gastronomy as strategic drivers for sustainable economic development, regional integration, and international positioning.

Key discussions centered on public policies, investments, wine tourism routes, and job creation. Brazilian Tourism Minister Gustavo Feliciano noted that over 85% of Brazilian wineries already offer tourism-related experiences. Argentina also highlighted its significant role in the sector, noting that one in ten visitors to the country is attracted by wine, supported by more than 375 wineries across 16 provinces.
