Americas High School stabbing: 14-year-old suspect in custody

A 14-year-old suspect is in custody following a stabbing incident at Americas High School in El Paso, Texas. The attack occurred near the school’s baseball field around 8:30 AM on Friday.

Three students, including two 14-year-old boys and one 14-year-old girl, sustained stab wounds. Authorities reported that two of the victims were injured while attempting to intervene and assist the third. All three victims were transported to local hospitals and were reported to be in stable condition.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office described the event as an “isolated attack.” The suspect faces at least three charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation is being conducted by the sheriff’s office with assistance from the Texas Rangers and the Socorro Independent School District Police Department.
