Amersfoort presents stable 2027-2030 multi-year budget

The Amersfoort municipal executive has presented its multi-year budget for 2027-2030, describing the city's financial situation as stable and in order. This initial budget is more concise than usual, focusing on established policies while the specific financial effects of the new coalition agreement, ‘Stad in Verbinding’, are still being processed.

Finance Alderman Marjolein Perdok noted that the administration is currently developing an implementation program based on the coalition agreement. The results of this program, which will include details on average resident taxes and levies for 2027, will be presented to the municipal council this autumn through a budget amendment. The budget is projected to be structurally balanced for all years in the period.
