Amey secures eight-year contract with Irish Rail

Amey has secured its first major contract with Irish Rail (Iarnród Éireann) through an eight-year framework agreement. The contract, valued at approximately EUR 30 million, focuses on the implementation of signalling, electrification, and telecommunications systems across the Irish rail network.

As a single-partner framework, the agreement covers the full project lifecycle, including preliminary design, project management, installation, testing, and commissioning. The partnership aims to support Irish Rail in developing a more secure, resilient, and modernized infrastructure. This agreement marks a significant expansion of Amey’s operations in Ireland, building upon its existing presence in the country’s transport sector.
