Amg Energia upgrades air‑conditioning systems at Palermo municipal sites

Amg Energia Spa carried out a series of air‑conditioning upgrades for municipal buildings in Palermo. The company installed a new polyvalent unit that can produce both heating and cooling, replacing a 20‑year‑old system at the modern art gallery on Piazza Sant'Anna. The installation required major structural modifications, a large crane, and compliance with a thermal‑stress ordinance.

In parallel, Amg Energia repaired a second unit at the GAM site that had been shut down after external workers mistakenly closed a water‑collection valve. The revived system now serves the ground and first floors of the building. A further new unit was commissioned for the sixth district police delegation on Via Monte San Calogero, extending climate control to the entire delegation headquarters. Additional work is underway on a new air‑conditioning plant for the municipal police command on Via Ugo La Malfa.
