Ami Kikuchi discusses Malaysia relocation and housing

Japanese personality Ami Kikuchi has shared details regarding her recent relocation to Malaysia, noting the significant differences in housing and rental costs compared to Japan.

Appearing on Taiyo Sugiura’s YouTube channel, Kikuchi explained that high-end condominiums in Malaysia often serve as the standard for living. She noted that these properties frequently include amenities such as pools, saunas, tennis courts, and children’s playgrounds as default features.

Kikuchi highlighted that rental prices are notably lower, mentioning that a 2LDK apartment with a pool can cost approximately 100,000 yen per month. She also observed that many properties come furnished with items like sofas, beds, and televisions, and that unlike the Japanese system, owners typically cover various initial costs rather than the tenant.
