Ami Suzuki joins cast of Mone Kamishiraishi drama ‘Iroha no Koi wa Toki o Kakeru’

Singer and entertainer Ami Suzuki has been cast in the TBS drama ‘Iroha no Koi wa Toki o Kakeru’, starring Mone Kamishiraishi. Suzuki will portray Shion Yoshida, a former model turned influencer and well-known parent within the school community.

Her character is the mother of Hazuki Yoshida, a student who begins refusing to attend school. The storyline explores the conflict between the school's efforts to encourage attendance and Shion's desire to respect her daughter's autonomy and freedom from the traditional educational system.

The romantic comedy follows a soul from the Edo period that time-travels into the body of a modern-day elementary school teacher. The series features a diverse cast including Koji Mukai, Jurotaro Yamanaka, and Motoki Ohmori.
