Amica Group acquires rights to use French Sauter brand
Amica Group has successfully fulfilled all formal conditions to begin using the Sauter brand in France. This follows a licensing agreement reached in June with Heritage Brandt SAS, allowing the Polish appliance manufacturer to utilize the trademarks of the premium French brand.
Sauter, established in 1902, is a well-known brand in the French market, particularly recognized for cooking appliances such as ovens, hobs, and hoods. Amica aims to use this acquisition to strengthen its presence in Western Europe and better meet the needs of local consumers.
Despite a slight decline in revenues within the Polish market, Amica has seen growth in Western Europe. The company is currently focusing on cost management and restructuring, noting that geopolitical factors continue to influence consumer demand for home appliances.
