Amici 26 introduces athletes India Serafini and Gabriele Guidi Rontani

The talent show Amici 26 is introducing sports disciplines to its lineup, featuring athletes Gabriele Guidi Rontani and India Serafini. The initiative aims to provide visibility to sports that often lack media coverage outside of major events like the Paris 2024 Olympics.

India Serafini is a 20-year-old judoka competing in the under 52 kg category. She has achieved several honors in national and international youth competitions, including a gold medal at the 2022 Città di Colombo International Tournament in Genoa and silver at the Alpe Adria Under 18 Trophy.

Gabriele Guidi Rontani, a 22-year-old boxer, joins the program alongside Serafini. Host Maria De Filippi stated that the decision to include athletes was inspired by the Olympics, seeking to highlight the personal sacrifices and determination required in disciplines that do not always receive significant financial or media attention.
