Amici 26 introduces new artistic directors and vocal coaches

The new edition of the Italian talent show Amici 26 has introduced several structural changes, including the replacement of traditional professors with artistic directors.

Among the new staff members are vocal coaches Lalla Francia, Caterina Magliozzi, and Lorenzo Ricci. Francia emphasized the importance of passing on musical culture and passion, noting that certain practical skills are not taught in conservatories. Magliozzi described the role as acting as a mirror for students to achieve vocal freedom, while Ricci highlighted the emotional connection required in vocal training.

Additionally, Ambra Angiolini has taken on the role of artistic director for dance. Following public scrutiny regarding her suitability for the position, Angiolini responded via social media with irony, sharing a video of her children, Jolanda and Leonardo, dancing to suggest her talent for nurturing dance skills runs in the family.
