Amico Cuore Toscana releases free first aid educational videos

Amico Cuore Toscana ODV has released three free educational animated videos as part of the ‘VIVA!’ campaign, supported by the Italian Red Cross. The project aims to make first aid more accessible and increase public awareness regarding emergency response.

The videos cover critical life-saving procedures, including managing cardiac arrest and using a defibrillator, airway obstruction relief for both adults and children, and the management of severe hemorrhages. Developed through collaboration between healthcare professionals and volunteers, the content uses simple language and an animated style to reach diverse audiences, specifically targeting parents, teachers, and educators.

Andrea Colli, president of Amico Cuore Toscana ODV and Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialization School at the University of Pisa, stated the goal is to foster a culture of mutual aid to save lives. The initiative is supported by the Municipality of Pisa and involves the Misericordia di Pisa.
