Aminet adds new AmigaOS ports for Quake II and Lua runtime

The Aminet repository has published two new Amiga software packages. "AmiQuake2_RTG" is an Amiga 68k port of Yamagi Quake II (version 3.01) that adds RTG support, fixes bugs, and runs on modern 64‑bit systems, but lacks network multiplayer, joystick and 3D hardware support. It requires an RTG‑capable Amiga, PiStorm 4, AHI and the original game files.

The second release, "amiworp‑lua550‑os3.lha", provides a Lua 5.5.0 runtime for AmigaOS 3.x. It includes the interpreter, compiler, SDK and dynamic modules, runs installer‑free, and works on AmigaOS 3.1 and newer without IXEMUL. Both packages are distributed via Aminet with accompanying documentation and source links.
