In a statement, the Senator’s media office described the rumors as “false, baseless and should be disregarded.” The denial follows the circulation of videos and photographs on social media that fueled speculation regarding a political realignment. The office clarified that Tambuwal’s interactions with members of other parties are a result of political civility and longstanding professional relationships rather than a change in allegiance.

Tambuwal remains committed to the ADC, with a focus on strengthening the party and mobilizing support for the 2027 general elections.
