Amir Pašić arrested following report of psychological violence

Amir Pašić, known as Faćo, has been arrested by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton following a report of psychological violence filed by Benjamina Karić, the head of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality.

Karić stated that the report was filed due to a period of continuous harassment, insults, and psychological pressure that extended to her husband and minor child. She emphasized that such behavior should not be normalized in public life.

Pašić has a history of similar incidents. In July, he was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for previous cases of verbal harassment, though the sentence has not yet become final. He has also faced accusations regarding insults directed at journalists and government officials in the past.
