Amit Shah inaugurates 400-bed tower at Max Hospital in Saket

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has inaugurated a new 400-bed tower at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, Delhi. This expansion increases the hospital’s total capacity to approximately 1,200 beds, making it the largest private hospital in the city by bed strength.

The new facility is designed to provide advanced tertiary and quaternary healthcare services to patients from the Delhi-NCR region and across India. It features specialized medical technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and the Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot, to facilitate precision-driven and minimally invasive procedures across more than 22 specialties.

Max Healthcare reported that the organization provided free medical care worth Rs 244 crore to 3.60 lakh people in the past year. The Saket facility serves as a key component of the company’s integrated healthcare and medical education ecosystem.
