Amit Shah interrupts Goa program following Delhi building collapse

Union Home Minister Amit Shah interrupted his scheduled program in Goa on Sunday following reports of a building collapse in the Saty Niketan area of South Delhi. Shah was attending the inauguration of the new BJP state office when he received news of the incident, which resulted in fatalities. After expressing his condolences, he departed the event to monitor the ongoing relief and rescue efforts in the capital.

In Delhi, emergency response teams including the NDRF, Delhi Fire Service, Delhi Police, and MCD are conducting large-scale rescue operations to reach those trapped under the debris. As a precaution, adjacent buildings have been evacuated. Local officials have confirmed that efforts are underway to provide immediate assistance to the affected families and ensure the safety of those in the vicinity.
