Amit Shah begins three-day visit to Goa

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is undertaking a three-day visit to Goa starting September 5. His itinerary includes chairing a Ministry of Home Affairs meeting to review various issues related to the state and addressing a press conference focused on narcotics and combating drug trafficking.

During the visit, Shah will inaugurate ‘Atal Bhavan’, the newly constructed state office building for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and chair a meeting of the party’s State Core Committee.

On September 7, Shah is scheduled to participate in the Western Zonal Council meeting, which brings together representatives from Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu to discuss regional development and administration. He will also attend the Goa Police President’s Colours Award Ceremony at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium.
