Amitabh Bachchan and Diljit Dosanjh face security threats

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and singer Diljit Dosanjh have been targeted by reported bomb threats. An individual identifying as Smith Johnson sent an email to Mumbai’s civic body warning of a grenade attack on Bachchan’s residence on October 31 and a suicide attack at Dosanjh’s upcoming concert at Mahalaxmi Racecourse on November 27.

The threats have reignited long-standing controversies involving Bachchan and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Separatist group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has criticized Dosanjh following his appearance on Bachchan’s television show, Kaun Banega Crorepati. While some Sikh organizations have historically accused Bachchan of involvement in the 1984 violence, he has consistently denied these allegations.

Despite the heightened security at his Juhu residence, Jalsa, Bachchan recently appeared to greet fans alongside his son, Abhishek Bachchan. This public appearance follows a recent health update in which the actor noted he required more rest to continue his recovery.
