Amitabh Bachchan discusses difficulty decoding Gen Z slang

During a recent episode of the quiz reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan humorously discussed his struggles with understanding Gen Z slang. The 83-year-old megastar joked about taking popular expressions literally, such as “rocking” and “killing it.”

Bachchan remarked on the constant evolution of language, noting his confusion when people tell him he is “rocking” by suggesting he has not even picked up a stone yet. He also expressed bewilderment at the phrase “killing it,” questioning why people would speak to him about death. The actor previously noted similar difficulties with modern terminology, including the term “Biwi Paglu.”
