Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has significantly expanded his real estate portfolio through major land acquisitions in Ayodhya and commercial leasing in Mumbai.
In Ayodhya, Bachchan’s investments have reached an estimated ₹90 to ₹100 crore. His holdings include a 10,000 square foot plot in The Sarayu project purchased for ₹15 crore, a 25,000 square foot plot acquired for nearly ₹40 crore in May 2025, and a 2.67-acre property valued at ₹35 crore purchased in early 2026 from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). Additionally, the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Memorial Trust acquired a 54,454 square foot plot in the region.
In Mumbai, Bachchan has entered a five-year lease agreement for commercial space in Andheri West. He is renting three floors of the Signature building in Oshiwara to the nutrition brand TruNativ F&B Private Limited. The lease, which began in August 2026, carries a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh with a 5% annual increase, totaling an estimated ₹21.88 crore over the term of the agreement.
