Amitabh Bachchan to begin filming KBC Season 18 on August 1

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will resume his role as host of the Hindi quiz show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" for its 18th season. Production is scheduled to start on August 1 at a specially built set in Mumbai’s Film City.

The new season carries the theme “Is Baar… Sochna Padega,” encouraging contestants to think carefully before answering. Sony Entertainment Television released a promo showing Bachchan on a golf course, drawing a parallel between the sport and the need to pause before giving a response.
