Amitabh Bachchan to build memorial dharamshala in Ayodhya

Actor Amitabh Bachchan has submitted an application to the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to construct a memorial dharamshala in Ayodhya dedicated to his late father, the renowned Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

The proposed facility, located along Dashrath Path within The Sarayu project, will feature more than 20 rooms and is being built on land valued at approximately Rs 15 crore. The project aims to provide accommodation for devotees visiting the city.

The ADA has issued a public notice inviting objections to the building layout, providing a 15-day window for public feedback. Following the clearance process, construction is expected to begin in October.
