Amity University Haryana inaugurates Deeksharambh 2026 orientation program

On August 5, 2026, Amity University Haryana in Gurugram held the grand inauguration of Deeksharambh 2026, its flagship orientation and student‑induction programme for incoming undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts. The event, themed “Discover, Aspire, Achieve,” was guided by Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan and Chancellor Dr. Aseem Chauhan and followed the university’s SAGE framework of Socializing, Associating, Governing and Experiencing.

The ceremony began with a Vedic Hawan and lamp‑lighting, then featured speeches from Vice‑Chancellor Prof. P. B. Sharma, who urged students to pursue excellence with purpose, and chief guest Akhilesh Mishra, former Indian Ambassador to Ireland, who spoke on leadership, innovation and India’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat @2047.” Hundreds of students, parents, faculty and distinguished guests attended, marking the start of the academic journey for the new batch.
