Amjad Taha warns of extremist infiltration in Western democracies

Amjad Taha, a political analyst based in the United Arab Emirates, has issued an open letter warning Western societies about what he describes as a planned infiltration of their democratic systems. Taha argues that Western nations are mistaking cowardice for tolerance, allowing extremist elements, specifically citing the Muslim Brotherhood, to exploit democratic processes to gain political power.

The analyst claims that these groups use democracy as a vehicle to eventually transform it into totalitarian religious systems. He points to trends such as partisan voting within Muslim communities in the United Kingdom as evidence of this shift, noting the presence of specific Muslim MPs in the House of Commons. Taha further criticizes Western governments for what he perceives as the criminalization of criticism through the concept of ‘Islamophobia’.
