Amna Hadžić wins four awards at Pigneto Film Festival

Bosnian director Amna Hadžić has won four awards at the Pigneto Film Festival in Rome for her short film, ‘Ma che stai a fa?’ (‘What are you doing?’). The film received the awards for Best Short Film, Best Screenplay, Best Acting, and the Audience Award.

Developed during a film residency where directors had only 120 hours to create an original work, the film explores themes of pride, prejudice, and the relationship between individuals and their community within the Pigneto district. In addition to the awards, the film has secured distribution in Italy. Lead actor Federico Citracca received the award for Best Acting, while the jury praised the screenplay for its narrative structure and character depth.
