Among Us introduces new Judge role in version 18.0.0 update

Innersloth has released version 18.0.0 of Among Us, introducing a new Judge role. This role grants players the ability to use an ‘Overrule’ ability to eject a chosen Crewmate, regardless of how other players voted during an Emergency Meeting.

The ability comes with significant risks: if a Judge uses the Overrule on someone who is not the Impostor, the Judge themselves will be ejected. The ability can only be used once per game and is unlocked by completing tasks. Players can adjust the number of tasks required to activate the role within the game settings.

In addition to the Judge, the update includes quality-of-life improvements, such as a new Match Info Guide to track players and roles, and a cooldown period for the Detective’s Interrogate ability to improve game balance.
