Amorepacific presents AI-driven skin science research at IFSCC Congress

Amorepacific presented nine research findings utilizing AI and digital technologies at the IFSCC Congress 2026 held in Perth, Australia. The company focused on advancing skin science through prediction, quantification, and data-driven consumer insights.

Key research highlights include a study on ‘heat-accelerated aging’ which combined transcriptomic analysis with deep learning to predict skin aging processes and identify materials effective for repairing damaged skin structures. This work was recognized as a Top 10 selection for the Podium Fundamental Research Award.

Additionally, the company showcased technology to quantify cosmetic sensory experiences by visualizing moisture distribution and measuring micro-electrical changes on the skin in real-time. This research, which showed a high correlation with consumer perception, was named a Top 10 selection for the Podium Applied Research Award.

Further research involved using AI to analyze video interviews from consumers in Brazil and Mexico regarding moisturizing products for sensitive skin. The analysis identified rapid absorption, lightweight feel, and skin barrier care as primary preference factors.
