Spanish municipalities announce participants for upcoming religious festivities
Various Spanish municipalities and religious associations have announced key figures and artistic works for upcoming local festivities and religious celebrations.
In Torrevieja, the Real Asociación Hijos de la Inmaculada has named Amparo Cos Boj as the pregonera for the 2026 patron saint festivities in honor of the Immaculate Conception. The event is scheduled for November 15 at the parish of the Immaculate Conception.
In Cádiz, preparations for the 2027 Holy Week are underway. Juan Jesús López Gámez has been selected as the pregonero, with artist Fernando Vaquero commissioned to create the official announcement poster. The proclamation will take place at the Gran Teatro Falla on March 14, 2027.
Other regional announcements include:
• Isla Cristina: Artist Curro Tobarra has designed the digital poster for the Fiestas del Rosario, scheduled for October 2–7. • Puerto Real: Iván Roa Rodríguez will serve as the pregonero for the 2027 Holy Week, while José Manuel Romero González will lead the Exaltación al Costalero. • Villanueva de Alcardete: The municipality presented its 2026 Honor Court through a themed video inspired by ‘Mission Impossible’ to promote local festivities. • Sevilla: The Triana district has announced its 2027 Three Kings Parade participants, including Francisco Manuel López as Melchor and Ana Contreras as Baltasar.
