AMPI launches university center to professionalize Mexican real estate
The Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios (AMPI) is expanding its training and certification efforts into the academic sector through the Centro Universitario AMPI. This initiative aims to address a real estate market that is becoming increasingly regulated, technological, and demanding.
The university center offers a range of programs with official validity (RVOE), including a Higher University Technician in Real Estate Commercialization, a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Commercialization, and Master's degrees in Real Estate Business and Commercial/Industrial Property Commercialization.
This move comes as the Mexican real estate sector faces evolving legal frameworks, with 23 of 32 federal entities currently having legislation related to real estate activities. Additionally, the average housing price in Mexico reached 1.86 million pesos in 2025, representing an annual growth of 8.7 percent, increasing the importance of professional expertise in managing high-value assets.
