Amplifica raises $26 million to advance hair regrowth therapies
Amplifica Holdings Group has secured oversubscribed Series B financing totaling $26 million to advance its pipeline of injectable therapies for hair regrowth. The funding round was led by Tasso Partners, with participation from Eli Lilly and Company, Scopia Capital Management, and other investors.
The biotechnology company is developing therapies aimed at reactivating dormant hair follicles to treat androgenetic alopecia. Unlike existing treatments such as minoxidil or finasteride, which focus on slowing hair loss, Amplifica’s signaling molecule approach seeks to promote new hair growth. The company intends to use the proceeds to progress clinical development for both men and women.
