Amplified People Group acquires Higher to boost AI recruitment

Amplified People Group has acquired Higher, an executive search firm specializing in artificial intelligence and engineering leadership recruitment. The acquisition is a response to increasing demand from technology companies for specialized talent in these sectors over the last 18 months.

As part of the deal, Higher will be merged into JBM, which is Amplified’s executive search brand focused on fractional and permanent leadership roles in general management, operations, and go-to-market functions. Higher’s founder and Managing Director, Kelly Gauthier, and her team will join the larger platform.

Founded in November 2023, Amplified People Group supports technology companies from their inception through to initial public offerings. The group operates through a portfolio of specialist businesses, including JBM, Foundation Partners, and Unleashed.
