Endless Legend 2 launches September 17 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with new Sandshapers faction

Amplitude Studios and publisher Hooded Horse announced that the full version 1.0 of Endless Legend 2 will be released on 17 September 2026. The game will leave early‑access after about a year and become available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store) as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A free demo is already offered on all platforms.

The update adds the sixth major playable faction, the Sandshapers, an ancient civilization aiming to restore the planet Saiadha to a desert state. It also introduces two “Rogue Factions” – the Order of Zelevas, a conquest‑focused offshoot of the Kin of Sheredyn, and the Severed Claw, a slave‑reliant variant of the Necrophage. A community‑created minor faction, Mangrove of Harmony, joins the roster with its own hero and quests. The 4X strategy game features a world where oceans recede and cataclysmic events reshape the map, requiring players to adapt their empire building.

Physical collector’s editions for PS5 are being produced in partnership with Strictly Limited, and pre‑orders are open. The game has received strong early‑access reviews, with an 82 % positive rating on Steam.
