Amposta explores upgrading existing cultural venues

In Amposta, local musical societies such as Lira Ampostina and Unió Filharmònica are highlighting the need for improved cultural venues. While the city currently utilizes spaces like the Casal theatre and the municipal auditorium, these facilities face limitations regarding acoustics, stage capacity, and comfort.

Rather than constructing a new municipal auditorium—which would involve significant long-term maintenance costs and environmental impacts—there is a proposal to study the feasibility of renovating and adapting existing local auditoriums, specifically those belonging to Lira and the Fila. Such an investment would require technical and economic studies to ensure it benefits the city effectively.
