AMPRAC discusses women's political rights in Reynosa

The Association of Professional Women of Reynosa (AMPRAC) held a forum titled “Political rights of women, from the vote to parity” at the Universidad México Americana del Norte. The event focused on analyzing progress in gender equality and female participation in public and political life ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speakers Emilia Vela González and Aida Zalema Flores Peña discussed the evolution of women's political rights, including gender parity and substantive equality. Current AMPRAC president Beatriz Muñoz Rodríguez emphasized the necessity of fostering dialogue among younger generations to strengthen knowledge of political rights and encourage equitable participation in public life.
