Amreli hosts large-scale Sharadotsav cultural festivals

The Amreli district in Gujarat recently hosted two major cultural festivals, ‘Kesariyo Sharadotsav’ and ‘Peele Patangiya Sharadotsav’, celebrating the traditional Ras-Garba dance.

In Amreli, the ‘Kesariyo Sharadotsav’ was organized by Energy Minister Kaushikbhai Vekariya. The event featured a solar-themed decoration and saw participation from political figures, including IFFCO Chairman Dilip Sanghani and MP Bharat Sutariya, alongside local athletes.

In Savarkundla, the ‘Peele Patangiya Sharadotsav’ was held under the guidance of MLA Mahesh Kaswala. This festival utilized advanced technology, including a 500-foot LED screen and high-end sound systems, to blend tradition with modern presentation. Notably, the event was organized to support the treatment of sick cows, combining cultural celebration with animal welfare. Both events were attended by prominent regional leaders, including Energy Minister Kaushik Vekariya, who participated in the traditional dances.
