Vasco SAF sale faces ANRESF investigation over potential conflict of interest

The National Agency for Regulation and Sustainability of Football (ANRESF) has launched a formal investigation into the potential sale of Vasco da Gama's SAF. The probe focuses on a possible conflict of interest involving investor Marcos Lamacchia, who is the stepson of Palmeiras president Leila Pereira. To prevent competitive imbalances, ANRESF has imposed precautionary measures prohibiting Vasco from conducting commercial or financial transactions with Palmeiras or the Crefisa/Crefipar group during the investigation.

Simultaneously, the court has authorized a competitive bidding process for the sale of the UPI Equity, which controls 90% of Vasco's SAF. Lamacchia's existing proposal serves as the minimum reference for this auction.

In separate transfer news, Flamengo has finalized the sale of attacker Gonzalo Plata to Dynamo Moscow for approximately 12 million euros, with the payment to be made in full. Additionally, the club has agreed to sell Wallace Yan to Red Bull Bragantino for 6 million euros for 70% of his economic rights, a deal that also includes a youth player from Bragantino.
