América TV mourns death of long-time legal director Godofredo Lozano

América TV is mourning the sudden passing of Godofredo Lozano, the long-time director of the legal department for Grupo América. Lozano, affectionately known as ‘Godo’, had been with the company for over 20 years, managing contracts and legal matters for the network’s hosts and producers.

Lozano was scheduled to undergo surgery to replace an aortic valve, but complications arose, preventing the procedure from taking place. He passed away the following day. The network issued a statement expressing deep regret, praising his commitment, wisdom, and the respect he earned from his colleagues over two decades of service.
