Américo Villarreal pledges support for Xicoténcatl autism center
Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya has pledged state support to complete the Rehabilitation and Stimulation Center for Autism (CREA) in Xicoténcatl. During the report by municipal president Mariela López Sosa, the governor emphasized the state's commitment to public works, health, education, and agricultural support in the region.
Regarding the local economy, Villarreal noted that the recent opening of the United States market to sugar purchases, announced by President Claudia Sheinbaum, is expected to benefit the local sugarcane sector. He also commended local ranchers for their efforts in controlling bovine tuberculosis, brucellosis, and screw-worm, which helps improve livestock prices. In education, the governor reiterated his administration's goal to ensure all children in Tamaulipas have access to classrooms, desks, and teachers.
