Amrize posts Q2 2026 revenue rise and adjusts full‑year outlook

Swiss building‑materials firm Amrize reported its second‑quarter 2026 results on 6 August. Revenue grew 8.6 % year‑on‑year to US$3.49 billion, with organic growth of 6.7 %. The Building Materials segment posted US$2.45 billion in sales (+8.2 %), while the Building Envelope segment, focused on roof equipment, increased 9.4 % to US$1.05 billion, reversing a prior decline linked to a weak U.S. housing market.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 5.8 % to US$986 million and net profit climbed 14.4 % to US$476 million. Operating margin slipped to 28.0 % from 27.2 % as higher oil‑driven freight costs offset price increases. The board declared a quarterly dividend of US$0.11 per share.

For the full year 2026, Amrize lifted its revenue outlook to US$12.5‑12.7 billion (up from US$12.29‑12.52 billion) but trimmed its adjusted EBITDA target to US$3.1‑3.2 billion (down from US$3.25‑3.34 billion). Management, led by CEO Jan Jenisch, cited strong demand for large‑scale projects, price hikes, and the cost‑saving “Aspire” programme, which aims to deliver US$80 million in annual savings.
