Amstelveen En Plein Air art event scheduled for August 2026

The third edition of 'Amstelveen En Plein Air' is scheduled to take place on August 22 and 23, 2026, in Amstelveen, Netherlands. Organized by the professional artists' association AmstellandKunst in collaboration with Museum Cobra, Museum JAN, and Stadshart Amstelveen, the event features numerous artists creating works outdoors.

On Saturday, August 22, artists will work in various locations, including Stadshart Amstelveen, the Oude Dorp, and Broersepark, to produce diverse artworks ranging from drawings and paintings to collages and three-dimensional pieces. The public can observe the creative process in real time. On Sunday, August 23, the newly created works will be showcased in a free exhibition at Museum Cobra's Voordrachtzaal from 10:00 to 17:00. Both during the creation phase and the exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the artworks.
