Amsterdam and Rotterdam Pride festivals scheduled for July‑August and September 2024

Amsterdam Pride will run from 8 July to 29 July 2024, featuring the inaugural WorldPride edition in the city from 25 July to 8 August under the theme “Unity”. Organisers expect “hundreds of thousands” of visitors, with events including the Walk of Pride along the Dam, a WorldPride Village on Museumplein, a Pride Park in Vondelpark, a three‑hour parade on the Prinsengracht, and a conference at the Beurs van Berlage opened by Prime Minister Rob Jetten.

Rotterdam Pride Week 2026 is set for 17 September to 27 September. The program, titled Queertopia, will host a series of art, culture, activism and party events across the city, including a free‑access Pride Festival on Willemsplein on 26 September with performers such as Berget Lewis, JEA and Mandy McCandy. The annual Pride March will take place on 26 September under the motto “Pride is still a protest”. Additional community events and the launch of a Queertopia Magazine are planned throughout the week.
